The glass used in PERGOLUX glass walls is tempered (toughened) safety glass, which is up to five times stronger than standard annealed glass or laminated glass of the same size and thickness.
Tempered glass is designed to enhance safety. If it breaks, it shatters into small granular pieces rather than sharp, jagged fragments, reducing the risk of injury significantly compared to annealed glass.
