If you have an electric motor but need to close the louvres manually you can do this by carefully removing the bolt or pin from the motor arm.
⚠️ Caution:
The motor arm is under tension, and sudden release may cause the louvres to snap back with force. Proceed with care to avoid injury.
Ensure your hands and fingers are kept clear of the louvres at all times during this process. As an added precaution, you may wedge a sturdy object (such as a broom handle) between multiple louvre gaps to help prevent sudden movement, as the louvres can be heavy.
